February 2025 Community Night ~ "Valentines in Paris"
What a fun time we all had at our February Community Night! The evening started with the Century High School Student Govt students serving our dinner and decorating our dining room. They chose the coolest theme for the evening, by hosting “Valentines in Paris”! The food was delicious, and the ambiance relaxing. Thank you students, for taking such good care of our families.
After dinner, our children and teens participated in fun arts and crafts offered through our “Kids and Teen Club”. At the same time, our parents/caregivers are invited to join in one of two different support groups for a time of sharing. One of the groups is for our families who have a child either still in treatment, or who is a cancer survivor. The other group is for our families who have lost their precious child, after a very valiant battle with cancer. If a bereaved family is joining us for the first time, they are welcomed with a beautiful bouquet of flowers in memory of their child.
And finally, a huge thank you to Project Helping for providing gift bags for our children and teens. Project Helping is a 501(c)3 based out of Denver, CO and ship Kynd Kits all over the world. These Kynd Kits are completed and customized by volunteers who are passionate about our organization's mission and enjoy supporting our families. Thank you Project Helping!
