May 2021 Anniversary Picnic!

Happy 2nd Anniversary Childhood Cancer Community!

More than 120 of us came together to spend time eating, chatting, playing with water games and bubbles, hiking, fishing, and eating cake to celebrate CCC’s second anniversary. The weather was a perfect mix of sun and shade, and we welcomed six new families into the group at this event alone.

We are grateful to Hope Lutheran High School for the provision of a delicious meal, Not Your Average Magic for the wonderful table magic and balloon animals, the University of St. Thomas Pinky Swear Pack for the wonderful gift bags with picnic activities, kites, and gift cards, and more. We are also thankful for those who provided funding and additional touches to make the event special including Caring Hearts of Southeast Minnesota and Kula and Jean. And as always, a huge thank you to Brendan Bush Photography for taking every incredible photo!
