April 2024 Spring Community Night

What a special evening everyone had at our Spring Community Night!

Our delicious meal was served by the Caleb Eide Memorial Foundation. Their foundation was founded in memory of Caleb Eide, one of our Childhood Cancer Community children, who passed away on July 29, 2016 after a very valiant battle with cancer. The Caleb Eide Memorial Foundation is one of Childhood Cancer Community’s prominent supporters. The group also did a beautiful job decorating our dining area and making it so welcoming for our families.

A highlight of the evening for our children and teens, were the “Family Movie Night” gifts they received. The Plainview Lions Club, Lewiston Lions Club, and the Altura Lions Club all came together to create these fun family gifts. They consisted of popcorn buckets filled with everything a family would need to have a special family movie night!

In addition, Project Linus donated beautiful blankets and quilts! Our families love getting to choose their favorite one. These quilts and blankets provide a certain warmth & love during a very lonely and isolating time in their lives.

Childhood Cancer Community is grateful for the ongoing support of the community! Thank you to everyone.
