May 2024 Community Night / Family Olympics
What a fun time we all had at our May Community Night! The evening started with the Century High School Student Govt students serving our dinner and decorating our dining room. They chose the coolest theme for the evening, by hosting a Tea Party! The food was delicious, and the ambiance relaxing. Thank you students, for taking such good care of our families.
After dinner, Childhood Cancer Community invited the 3 D’s Ice Cream Truck to serve treats. Their ice cream comes from the Chocolate Shoppe in Madison, WI. They have been making ice cream for over 60 years and certainly have perfected it! We all loved getting to choose our favorite flavor.
We’d also like to thank Christ Community Church of Rochester for providing gift buckets and gift cards for our children and teens. Our children always get so excited when they see these colorful gifts, and get to check out all the fun things included!
And a huge thank you to Donna Richardson for making “gorgeous” quilts for our families. She provided some of the coolest designs and everyone loved them.
After we finished dinner and our ice cream treats, our families were invited to join us outside for Family Olympics. Family Olympics are fun family games with some GREAT prizes! Take a look at some of the fun they had in our photos below.
Childhood Cancer Community is grateful for the ongoing support of the community! Thank you to everyone.
